[starttext]A few months back I was in the Chat Section at the forum Preparing For The Future and we were discussing the preparedness specific items available in our local stores. I was somewhat surprised how many areas had very few items specifically for prepping or for food storage. Many of my friends from the forum have no other choice but to order many items over the Internet and are not able to support a local vendor even if they wanted to.

Now I am not posting these videos to brag but just to let others know there are areas in this country where people are getting ready. I also have a secondary incentive that hopefully others here in Utah will take the initiative to Prep-Up” while they still can.

For those of us that are “preppers” we sometimes have the false illusion that everybody is prepping or at least getting a few things when in reality that is just not that case. Many of the recent events such as the floods and ice-storms brought this to my attention. There are many people that could not go more than three days without depleting their pantries.
